Christchurch Free Wifi

Christchurch Free Wi-Fi is available in the central city, thanks to a partnership between Christchurch City Council and fibre broadband provider Enable.

Launched in June 2022, the fast, free Wi-Fi network supports digital inclusion by providing open access to the internet for all residents who spend time in the central city – not just those with mobile phone data plans.

Visitors to Ōtautahi-Christchurch also get to enjoy all our central city has to offer, while still being able to use the internet when they’re away from their hotel or accommodation.
